How your donation will be used

Development, construction and operation of a hotel is a multi-year and multi-million dollar endeavor that requires funds to deliver each phase of the project — from concept to operation. Camara-Goddard Hotel Group relies on a blended finance approach including equity, grants, debt loan financing, private investment and philanthropic donations. Your donations will be used to complete necessary resource and operational costs related to the project, such as contracting with architectural firms for schematic drawings and build plans to purchasing catering for additional fundraising events.

Qualifying donations

Donations are eligible for hotel-dependent benefits when a minimum amount of $5,000 is donated.

Timing

Donation benefits must be claimed or used within the first two years of the hotel openings. Benefits are subject to availability.

Terms

Donations are not exclusive to individual donors and can be extended to corporations and organizations, however, benefits are non-transferable and exclusive to the donor.

Benefits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Delivery is dependent on completion and opening of the hotels. If the hotel is delayed or modified, you will be notified. If the hotel is canceled, Camara-Goddard Hotel Group will refund all funds minus those already used for the project or needed to complete tasks related to cancellation.

For donation benefits that include naming rights, duration of naming rights is two years with an option to secure naming rights through additional donations once the duration is passed. Names must align with Camara-Goddard Hotel Group’s approval process, ensuring it aligns with the resort’s values and public image.

For donations related to booking and redeeming experiences, please book at least 30 days in advance.

Camara-Goddard Hotel Group does not claim liability for any risks associated with the use of the benefits. It ensures that all terms comply with relevant laws and regulations, including those related to fundraising, philanthropy, and hospitality. This agreement is subject to the jurisdiction where the project is based. Any disputes, the governing law and jurisdiction is that dictated by the state of New York.

Camara-Goddard Hotel Group reserves the right to alter or substitute benefits with equivalent ones, especially in unforeseen circumstances. Camara-Goddard Hotel Group reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions.

Confidentiality and privacy

Donor information will be used for internal business purposes by Camara-Goddard Hotel Group, and will be protected from any and all use outside of these purposes. All personal information related with donors will be kept confidential unless otherwise stipulated by the donor. No information will be shared for donors who prefer to remain anonymous.

Other details

You may be eligible for tax deductions or benefits depending on the legal framework governing charitable donations in your respective country. Donors should consult their tax advisors regarding the deductibility of their contributions. The provision of benefits may affect the tax-deductible portion of your donation.
